I would like to give my deepest gratitude to you for awarding me with the NSE Scholarship. As a recent high school graduate, going off to college alone, especially out of state, had been a new and exciting experience. Along with excitement, came some trepidation to move on to a new chapter of my life. Receiving this scholarship allowed me to pursue my initial goal of a Bachelor in Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
The assistance given to me was of immense help in paying a portion of my educational expenses and ensured that I could spend my time wholeheartedly focusing on my studies. Your magnanimity has encouraged me to take what I have gained and share it with others in my community through my Boy Scout troop. I aim to encourage the youth in my troop to excel in school and pursue their academic ambitions in earnest. Thank you again for your support, and I hope that the NSE Scholarship will benefit others as it did me.

The NSE Scholarship was a huge help back when I was enrolled into Northwest Florida College. Books can be expensive especially when you have to use your own money. Thank god I was eligible and able to apply. The NSE scholarship allowed me to buy books and other supplies for a few of my classes. I'm very grateful this scholarship was around when I needed it. I was humbled and thankful for having received one of the first ever NSE Scholarships awarded. It was a tremendous blessing in my financial aid and studies at Florida International University (FIU). I want to thank Ms. Sharon Eaddy and her committee for selecting and awarding me with such a generous gift of $1 ,500. I pray and wish them much success in their future endeavors as they aid other High School Students here in Dade and Broward counties to achieve their higher educational goals.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude in being named a recipient of the Nellie and Sharon Eady Scholarship. I was excited to hear of my selection and I am honored to have been chosen.
I am currently majoring in Digital Communications & Mass Media and plan to attend Florida International University this coming January. Presently, I am working to pay for my schooling, so receiving this scholarship will not only alleviate any financial stresses, but also allow me to concentrate more of my time on studying.

The NSE scholarship has helped me tremendously in many ways. It has help pay for books, technology used for projects, essays and equations. The NSE scholarship was also used for my university tuition. All of the things purchased and paid for with the NSE scholarship has helped me excel in school at Barry University as a prelaw major. It has helped me complete every single assignment that was thrown my way. The books that I have purchased for several classes are all because of the NSE scholarship. These are books that significantly contributed to the fate of my grade, and it was because of the NSE scholarship that I was able to obtain these useful tools for college success. This is a testimony of my academic prosperity because of the blessing of the NSE scholarship.
